Standard Service Framework
This document describes the standard service model applied by Northwest Storage & Fulfillment Incorporated in the course of its logistics and fulfillment activities.
We provide paid logistics, fulfillment, and operational services related to the handling, movement, storage, import, export, and processing of goods owned by our clients.
We do not sell goods, do not acquire ownership of client goods, and do not generate revenue from the resale of goods. All goods remain the property of the client at all times.
Depending on client needs, services may be provided individually or in combination and may include:
- receiving and temporary storage of goods
- inspection, labeling, relabeling, repackaging
- preparation and shipment to marketplaces, including Amazon
- handling of marketplace returns, storage, processing, relabeling, disposal, or further shipment as instructed by the client
- coordination of import processes into Canada
- preparation and support of customs documentation
- interaction with licensed customs brokers
- payment of import duties and taxes as part of service delivery
- organization of transportation through licensed third-party carriers
- independent selection of carriers, routes, and shipment formats (LTL, SPD, palletized, etc.)
- coordination of delivery timelines and logistics operations
- coordination of import and export of goods
- organization of cross-border movements between Canada and the USA
- handling of goods removed from marketplaces and further processing per client instructions
- a carrier
- a customs broker
- a sales agent
- a seller of goods
Transportation is performed by licensed third-party carriers. Customs clearance is performed by licensed customs brokers.
We bear full commercial and operational responsibility toward our clients for the outcome of the services provided.
In case of delays, losses, returns, additional costs, or other service-related issues, we independently manage resolution and fully compensate the client within the scope of provided services.
Physical transportation risk is borne by third-party carriers under their respective contracts; however, responsibility toward the client remains with us.
Where required, we may act as Importer of Record on our own business number as part of our commercial service activities.
